Community Standards

Code of Conduct

These guidelines exist to protect the community, not to police it. If you see something that concerns you, speak up. If you're unsure whether something is okay, ask.

01

Our Values

Rule 1

Be Respectful

Harassment and hateful conduct have no place here. This includes targeted insults, threats, and sustained unwanted contact directed at any member. Discrimination based on race, gender, sexuality, religion, disability, or any protected characteristic is not tolerated. We do not allow dogpiling, brigading, or coordinated harassment of any member.

Disagreement is welcome. Disrespect is not.

Not permitted

  • Targeted insults or name-calling
  • Threats of any kind
  • Discriminatory language or slurs
  • Sustained unwanted contact
  • Coordinated attacks on members
  • Misgendering after correction
  • Racist, sexist, or ableist rhetoric

Rule 2

Privacy & Safety

Protect each other's privacy as you would your own. Do not share personal information about others without explicit consent — this includes real names, addresses, phone numbers, workplace details, photos, and any identifying information.

Doxxing results in immediate permanent removal. In this community, doxxing includes screenshotting and sharing anything from this platform to non-members, as well as sharing private room conversations with people not included in that discussion. Screen names are how we choose to communicate here. All in-person information should be kept off-platform and given the same privacy and respect.

Never share without consent

  • Real names or legal identities
  • Home or work addresses
  • Phone numbers
  • Workplace or school details
  • Photos of individuals
  • Financial information
  • Location data or check-ins
  • Screenshots to non-members
  • Private room messages shared outside that room
02

What's Not Allowed

Rule 3

No Violence

Violence and illegal conduct that violates any being and their rights, including animals, is not tolerated. Harm against one is harm against all. Discussions, video, or content involving animal sacrifice are strictly prohibited — this includes depictions, instructions, or promotion of ritual harm to animals in any form.

Rule 4

No Hate Speech

No hate speech, slurs, or content promoting extremist ideologies. Dehumanising language is never acceptable.

Rule 5

No Sexually Explicit Content

No NSFW content in any room. This includes images, videos, links, and sexually charged conversation in shared spaces.

Rule 6

No Self-Harm Content

No content depicting or encouraging self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders. We encourage members to seek support.

Rule 7

No Spam, Self-Promotion, or Advertising

No repetitive unsolicited messages, unwanted self-promotion, or excessive cross-posting between rooms. This community is not a marketplace — no sales, advertising, soliciting, or promoting products, services, campaigns, or fundraisers of any kind. This includes links to personal shops, Patreon, GoFundMe, or event ticket sales. If you have a community-relevant offering, ask a co-owner for approval before posting.

Rule 8

No Impersonation

No impersonation of other members, moderators, co-owners, or public figures. Parody accounts must be clearly labelled.

Rule 9

No Scams or Phishing

No scamming, phishing, or attempts to steal accounts, financial information, or identity. Report suspicious messages immediately to a co-owner.

Rule 10

No Ban Evasion

No using alternate accounts to evade enforcement actions. If you are removed, stay removed. Circumvention is grounds for permanent ban.

03

The Grimoire

Rule 11

Original Work & Attribution

Give credit where it is due. Cite sources for recipes, rituals, research, and quoted material. Plagiarism will result in content rejection. When adapting traditional or folk practices, acknowledge origins and communities respectfully.

Rule 12

Content Warnings

Mark sensitive content with appropriate warnings. The Grimoire is public — topics involving trauma, medical procedures, or intense ritual work should include clear content notes so readers can choose what they engage with.

Rule 13

Community-First Publishing

The Grimoire is a living archive for collective knowledge. Content should serve the whole community — personal rants, unverified claims, and off-topic submissions will not be published. All submissions are reviewed before publication.

04

Our Community
